Hi, I'm Lindsey, an Occupational Therapist & Feeding Specialist

 

This is my Story

As a mom of two young children and a pediatric occupational therapist (OT), I know firsthand how challenging mealtimes can be. When my children were little, I experienced the stress and frustration of picky eating and sensory aversions, and I found myself feeling overwhelmed trying to balance my career and family while supporting their needs. I've worked with countless families struggling with getting their kids to eat! It was during this time that I realized there was a gap in available resources for parents of neurodivergent children who needed more specialized support.

This personal experience led me to pursue a career in pediatric occupational therapy with a focus on feeding therapy. My background includes working in schools, clinics, and early intervention settings, where I developed a deep understanding of how sensory sensitivities can affect children’s eating habits and how important it is to meet kids where they are. Over the years, I’ve seen how small changes and personalized strategies can make a world of difference for children who struggle with food.

I’m passionate about helping parents and caregivers of neurodivergent children feel empowered to make mealtimes easier, less stressful, and more enjoyable. I truly believe that with the right tools, every child can develop a healthy, positive relationship with food. My goal is to support you with practical, sensory-based strategies that work for your family, whether your child has sensory aversions, picky eating habits, or any other feeding challenge.

I’m here to walk with you every step of the way, providing expert guidance and compassionate support as you create calmer, happier mealtimes for your child.

My Approach

My goal is to help your child feel safe, confident, and in control around food—so they naturally become more open to trying new foods at their own pace.

Using a child-led, sensory-friendly approach, I uncover the root of your child’s feeding challenges and create an individualized plan that works for your child, your family, and your busy life—without the pressure, battles, or guilt.

I work with toddlers to tweens (and every stage in between) because picky eating doesn’t have an age limit!

Through my work, I’ve helped kids:

✔️ Overcome food fears so they can enjoy vacations and social events
